Copybar is a clipboard manager for Mac, with companion apps for iPhone and iPad. It lives in the menu bar, captures text, code, links, images, PDFs and files, and brings any of it back with ⌘⇧V, full-text search and quick-paste by number. Clips can be pinned or organized into colour-coded pinboards.
It is built around one claim its competitors cannot make concretely: your clipboard is yours. History is stored in a local database and, if you turn sync on, in the private iCloud database attached to your own Apple Account. There is no Copybar server. Keys, tokens and passwords are recognized and refused before they are ever stored.
Copybar also runs a local, read-only server so AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor can search your clipboard and pinboards without being able to change anything. It is a one-time purchase of $9.99, not a subscription.

Brand rules
- The accent colour is
#0A66E8. The icon gradient runs#0B5FE3to#4A9BFF. - Do not recolour, rotate, outline or add effects to the mark.
- Leave clear space around it of at least the height of the bars inside the C.
- The name is always "Copybar": one word, capital C, no space, no camel case.
